In the range of our cultural programme we promote the encounter, the exchange and the intercultural dialogue with the objective to strengthen local artistic initiatives and to mediate a contemporary and modern view of Germany
Cultural events of the ICBA
Our Institute offers a broad spectrum of cultural activities like exhibitions, concerts, theatre, music nights, lectures… and invites to participate actively in special courses like dance evenings (Tango, Salsa, Merengue…), series of lectures, cooking in groups, meditation etc.
Our Institute works together closely with other local cultural institutions like the “Alianza Francesa”, the “Centro Boliviano Americano”, the “Museo de Niños Tanga Tanga” and the "Casa de la Libertad".
In the framework of diferent Cultural Festivals in Bolivia, the head of our Institute, Gerd Mielke, presented the monologue “Un Nuevo Informe para una Academia” following the text of the well known piece from Franz Kafka ("Ein Bericht an eine Akademie"), translated, adapted and extended by the Institute (download as pdf).
Regular activities:
- Cinema “Jueves de Cine”, every Thursday at 19:30 hours
- Dancing courses (Tango), every Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday at 19:30 hours
- Yoga lessons, Tuesday and Thursday, in two differents schedules
- Ecological Friday, with conferences, videos, and discussions about ecological themes, at 19:00 hours
- Open meditation, Tuesday and Thursday, 7:00 to 7:30 hours
Furthermore we offer additional special activities in close cordination with the KulturCafé-Berlin and the Ecomuseum project.
